Crash bars upper right side BMW K 1600 GT/GTL (2010>2016)
These new crash bars feature a three-point shock absorption system. Unlike typical cylinder guards that attach directly to engine mounts, this design mounts to a plate isolated from the engine block by anti-shock aluminium spacers. With five fixing points, the load and impact forces are effectively distributed, enhancing shock absorption. The tubular crash bars are thus distinct from earlier models on the market. Note: these cylinder guards are intended to protect the motorcycle during falls when stationary, not while in motion.
