The unmistakable slash cut ends on this exhaust system makes it different from the regular Shortshots. The deep hot rod roar shows everybody there is more to this system than good looks. Stepped headers from 1-3/4" to a 2-1/2" muffler body and 220ø coverage heat shields that are almost invisible. Now integrating the innovative PCXT technology with a chambered high-flow catalyst cartridge. - PCXT (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology - Chambered high-flow catalyst cartridge designed to increase torque. Vance & Hines innovative PCXT Technology explained: More Power & Less Heat. The PCXT (Power Chamber Exhaust) Technology are factually chambered high-flow catalysts. Used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration off the line. They are positioned downstream for up to 20% less heat at the floorboards / foot pegs and 50% less heat at the collector; to optimize rider comfort over the stock system. PCXT technology uses a high-flow double-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing an even deeper full-throated rumble; all with no compromise to the styling of any Vance & Hines exhaust system.Note: FLHC/S Heritage models require 565720 saddlebag support kit; right side only; when using OEM saddlebags.
