Description & Size Guide
304 stainless steel with a brushed 'works' finish. Inspired by the Vance & Hines Race team competing in the King of the Baggers class of the MotoAmerica Road Racing Championships, the Hi-Output RR captures every pulse-quickening element of the racing exhaust system into one you can put on your M8 Touring model as part of your own performance bagger build. Constructed of high grade 304 stainless steel, the hand TIG welded headers of the Hi-Output RR step from 1.75" to 1.875" to 2.0" and feed into the same oversized collector used on the race system. The collector is even rotated to add extra ground clearance to enable steeper lean angles through the turns. Finishing off the system with the mid-length 4" Hi-Output megaphone emblazoned with the same double-layered laser-cut riveted badge from the race system and features the V&H innovative PCX™ technology, which integrates a chambered high-flow catalyst for a bigger boost in torque off the line and roaring out of the corners. - PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology - Chambered high-flow catalyst cartridge designed to increase torque - Lightweight high grade 304 stainless steel construction - Hand TIG welded - Fits with standard (non-stretched) saddlebags. Vance & Hines innovative PCX™ Technology: More Power & Less Heat. The PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) Technology are factually chambered high-flow catalysts. Used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration off the line. They are positioned downstream for up to 20% less heat at the floorboards / footpegs and 50% less heat at the collector, to optimize rider comfort over the stock system. PCX™ technology uses a high-flow double-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing an even deeper full-throated rumble, all with no compromise to the styling of any Vance & Hines exhaust system. Tech-Tip: Pre-2021 USA mufflers on a 2021-up Softail/Touring? The FuelPak FP4 (part number 942227) allows you to disable the 2nd. O2 sensor in the muffler, or in the balance pipe of the cross-over section, without triggering trouble codes. This will enable you to use exhaust mufflers for earlier/US models that are not equipped with an O2 sensor connection.
