This kit is basically the same set-up that S&S uses in their SH-series ''Shovelhead'' engines. It enables you to upgrade your Shovelhead to the more modern Evo style valve train. Kit includes S&S Evo style tappets; billet aluminum CNC machined tappet guides; adjustable Quickee pushrods that are drilled for ''through the pushrod Evo style top-end oiling''. This top-end oiling requires the use of S&S 512493 roller rocker arm kit. Also included are gaskets; hardware and pushrod cover keepers. Note: Requires the use of S&S 512493 roller rocker arms for the ''through the pushrod'' top end oiling set-up; as is stock with Evolution motors. Note: A 84-99 style Evolution Big Twin cam must be used.
