With a regular petcock; when traveling at high speed; even with a stock engine; it can happen that your bike uses more fuel than a regular petcock can deliver. The engine sucks the float bowl dry; literally starving the engine. With High Performance Big Inch motors the problem increases. Pingel petcocks can supply the amount of fuel your engine needs to perform.Note: This petcock has a rear outlet. If you rotate the complete ''rear outlet'' petcock 90 degrees; you can make the outlet point to the left or right and are still able to control the fuel valve handle. This makes a pretty universal set-up for future gas tanks where petcock location may be different.
