This chain drive kit is equipped with the patented BDL compensator motor sprocket to reduce vibrations. The effect is similar to the OEM compensating sprocket system as used on 70-up Big Twin models. This chain drive kit comes complete with everything you need. Kit consist of a primary chain; primary chain adjuster; the motor sprocket; and a complete rear clutch shell/sprocket assembly. The clutch shell includes a starter ring gear for electric start options and contains the BDL competitor clutch for positive shifts and no clutch drag. This chain drive kit will fit inside the stock primary housing. Note: For correct alignment of motor sprocket / clutch sprocket it usually is necessary to use an alternator rotor with loose spacers. Some models may be equipped with an alternator rotor with a welded on alternator rotor spacer which may cause a too large offset.
